1.Dhaka metro system (under construction) Dhaka metro system is a ongoing mega project in Bangladesh. Dhaka mass transit company is the operator of the system. MRT line 6 is under construction and other lines are under planning. MRT 6 is 20.1 km long. The whole line is electrified. MRT 6 line will contain 16 stations and every station will contain various facilities. The lines are standard gauge. It is estimated that every day 483,000 people will use this facility after construction and it will help to reduce the traffic of Dhaka city. The first line will be opened in 2021. 2.Ruppur nuclear power plant. Ruppur nuclear power plant is the first nuclear power plant of Bangladesh. It is now under construction. It's construction cost is 12.65 million dollars. It is hoped that two units will go in operation in 2023. After construction every unit will produce 1080 MW electricity.
